One of the oldest and once most widely-grown Piedmontese varieties, Freisa is now a real rarity in the Langhe. An authentic grape that treats us to a highly appealing wine of great intensity.

Vinification

Fermentation and maceration in stainless steel for about two weeks at a controlled temperature. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation.

Aging

About 6 months in steel. This is followed by about one additional year in the bottle.

Average annual production

3.000 bottles (250 cases).
